So last night some of the soph’s & a2f staff decided to go to Farrell’s .. and I got this cursed sticker stuck onto my tshirt. The thing about birthday songs at Farrell’s .. is that they bring a whole crew and start singing and making a huge scene and they make you stand up and dance and make your life as miserable as they can. So basically, this was when everything went downhill - they started to sing and they made me stand up, and they said something along the lines of “PAUL IS A HIPHOP MASTER” and they were all dancing and waiting for me to join them and it was just terrifying and I wanted to die. And after sticking it out for what seemed like an eternity they dubbed my dance move “the statue” cause I didn’t do JACK. So yeah, that was my night - a most memorable 20th, to say the least.
A little keepsake from last night - the can of whipped cream used to obliterate my face.
I feel old.
I pulled an all-nighter watching this .. Korea time difference .. ain’t the business .. but so worth it haha - it’s not everyday you get to see your sister on TV. & man, she looked amazing! So proud of you, 누나.
It’s been one of those days … where you can’t get into your car and you freak out and you basically try to break into your car and realize after a good 5 minutes your car is actually 2 spots over .. then you go grab dinner with a friend at a mexican place and as you reach for the little sauce cups you forget there’s glass separating the sauce area from the cups and your hand ends up bumping into the glass and you just look retarded.
unnecessary rambling
Finally went to The Pie Hole today! I feel like it’s been so long since I hung out in LA … it was nice … &the block that The Pie Hole is on is in the arts district so there was street art everywhere & it makes me feel that much more miserable being back at school writing this paper.
covenantal relationships, old friends, “80:20”
Got picked up by my leader after class, was handed a nice fat carne asada burrito, and then made our way to Mt. Rubidoux with the small group. Can’t think of a better way to end my day.
